Muffler exhaust replacement question - Tacoma World As for hangers, the originals are welded to the back of the original muffler, so I used a 4" grinder to cut them off as-close-as-possible to the muffler and then used a stainless hose-type clamp to fasten the hangers to the new muffler system after it was installed; works perfectly, and I love the sound; sounds very V8'ish!

OEM muffler is NA - Tacoma World But my 99 F150 original muffler lasted until just a few years ago, about 20 years Stainless steel oem exhaust Around here, stainless is the way to go, and oem Trust me, I hate the thought of spending almost $500 on a muffler and tailpipe but I hate replacing them every year or two even more
