3 States Wont License Excelsiors ADN Grads - allnurses I've researched Excelsior and know the pros and cons, and for me the pros outweigh the cons (over a year to wait for CPNE, oh well) I don't plan on going any further than ADN, I'm turning 49 y o this year It's interesting to note that when I move with the wife within the next 2 to 3 years, I won't be moving to Alabama, California, or Maryland
Excelsior college - LPN to RN Nursing Student - allnurses Excelsior College is an excellent choice for your RN It allowed me to complete my RN degree on my own time and continue to work full time at the hospital You may be able to double up with prereqs but the nursing portion I do NOT recommend doubling up if you are currently working as the courses are rigorous
Any schools similar to excelsior - Online Distance Learning Does anyone know of any other school similar to Excelsior I've looked everywhere I'm starting to think of just getting a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration since I already have a Bachelor degree and can't seem to find any other nursing program Also, has anyone went through the Respiratory Therapist program with IU? Excelsior LPN to RN - Excelsior College - allnurses The nursing "classes" are all Excelsior College Examinations (ECE) The final two exams are a Focused Clinical Competency Assessment (Exam) and a 3-day in person on-site in a medical facility practical skills exam called the CPNE (Clinical Performance in Nursing Examination) Typo, i meant to say AS not RN Just read my original post Sorry
Excelsior - Excelsior College - allnurses Excelsior College is pursuing an appeal of ACEN’s decision and during the appeal process, Excelsior’s ACEN accreditation remains in place This action does not impact the bachelor’s or master’s degree programs currently accredited by ACEN
3 States Wont License Excelsiors ADN Grads - allnurses Excelsior grad who lives in a (at the time) state that didn't allow direct licensure but did allow transfer of license after 1000 hours of practice elsewhere A little over halfway through my 1000 hours, WaBoN changed the law and I could complete my hours on an intermediate license in state
Accredited? - Excelsior College - allnurses I was sincerely considering utilizing the LPN to RN bridge through Excelsior however I believe I heard that they lost or will be losing an accreditation of some
