I use the green Walmart "Marine Grease" in my trailer wheel bearings, seems to stay fresh and liquidy, don't set up hard, dry My trailer has those Accu-Lube spindles with the zerk fitting in the ends, so you pump grease in and the old grease comes right out and you can wipe it off and inspect it for water or contamination Every time I dunk the trailer

Re: HOW to remove old gas from internal gas tank the boat is out of the water and time get going on this project bummer- of course, the sending unit is someplace that is not easily accessible would hate to take off the helm so that being said, can i pull the fuel from the line that leaves the tank and hits the water fuel sep??

Pros cons I think that resurrecting a two year old thread can lead to a lot of confusion I just attended the New England Boat Show in Boston Feb 18, 2009 and around half of the outboard boats on exhibit were sporting BRP motors, including the twin motors on the Massachusetts Environmental Police boat

Re: mercruiser 3 0 performance, pros and cons, what can I expect? the 3 0 is a small motor it is great for a light cruise, however if your looking for performance, I suspect you may hit 35mph in your hull In my 17' (actually 16 5') I hit 42 on a good day with the right prop if you plan on water sports as well as cruising, you will need to carry two props
