If you get a locking rear end and are careful a 2wd will handle "most" ramp situations I have seen some 2wd owners carry a set of traction mats just in case It really depends on the ramp, how deep you need to launch and the surface conditions I know of some ramps that a 2wd is fine and some where a 4wd is required I have

Is it an external circuit or a bad battery Repeat the process (were using the boat and when you put it up it discharged the batt) and prior to storage, remove one of the battery terminals Will answer the question If the battery holds with wires disconnected it is leakage in an external ckt

Re: Best way to fix crack in aluminum boat? I agree You might be able to get away with a JB type fix for a while, but it probably wouldn't last forever like a re-weld However, if welding isn't an option, I would clean and prep the surfaces on both the inside and outside of the crack

WHAT KIND TO USE AND WHERE TO FIND IT? you can use exterior solid core Grade Plywood, seal all the edges very well marine plywood, would probably last about 2 years longer the main thing is every time you penatrate the wood it has to be sealed i use the same for my floor if you have a 1 1 inch thick transom, use 2 pieces of 3 4 ply any lumber yard will have it
