Spoilers - Picard Series Retrospective: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly . . . Picard's family host offered such a huge insight in to the character that I really appreciated Many of the character beats landed well Jurati's Borg was a fun take on a stale concept The Bad: Q and the whole time travel set up It tries to carry a heavy personal stake for Picard but it's way feels tacked on vs more organic too Picard
Picard film in development | Page 47 | The Trek BBS b) it will probably involve the Borg in some capacity, even if its just Picard teaming with Jurati and the Collective, since PIC was meant to be a Borg show No, please no I will pay Paramount just for them to never again use the Borg in anything, ever
Did Sisko ever forgive Picard? - The Trek BBS We saw how cold Sisko was towards Picard near the start of 'Emissary' and it was completely understandable too After all, the last time Sisko saw Picard, it was at Wolf 359 and Picard (as Locutus) caused the death of Jennifer At the end of the episode though, Sisko seems a little warmer
Picard vs Sisko - The Trek BBS Picard at DS9 would be too limited Picard at heart is an explorer, and if anything is good at being autonomous in his thinking Whilst Sisko is clever and shrewd, Picard IMO has more reason and wisdom, and the ability to sus out situations well Since DS9 is stationery, and by and large the crew did not explore the Gamma Quadrant, he'd be lost

I can just about accept Q needed Picard to live through the early 21st century again in order to have Picard reevaluate his prejudices about the Borg queen and so make other choices but I don't understand the necessity of making Adam Soong a
Spoilers - Are the first two seasons of Picard unnecessary? To answer the question given, in the course of the series, I’d say yes Seasons one and two offer up texture to where Picard, Riker, Troi and Seven are and introduce Raffi If I want to be contrary, and I sometimes do, I could argue that season three is unnecessary It’s the outlier here based on cast and storytelling
Did you end up as Blue Shirt Picard? - The Trek BBS In our youth, I'm sure some of us aspired to "greatness" We were ambitious and strivers But as time goes on, it becomes apparent that we aren't going to become Red Shirt Captain Picard but lowly Blue Shirt LTjg Picard as shown in the "Tapestry" episode We are going to be living out the rest
Spoilers - Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread I still don’t think Picard’s mission is related to the Supernova, but the Borg The Supernova happens after Picard retires, unless they’ve changed the date for the Nova According to Dayton Ward over in the Lit section, everything on the placards at the Picard museum came from the show’s story and scripts
Your favorite Picard love interest? | The Trek BBS Makes at least as much sense as Riker and Q Picard was not gay or bi So including them on the list vitiates the meaning of "love interest"---as commonly understood in everyday parlance, the phrase "love interest" means a romantic love interest If Picard loved Riker like a son or brother or combination of the two, that doesn't fit, and he certainly had no romantic interest in him And Q
