VMFXX - Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund VUSXX - Vanguard Treasury Money Market Fund I can see what each fund is invested in (Repurchase Agreements US Government Obligations US Treasury Bills) and the mix of those investments, but I don't know the rationale for investing in one fund over the others

VMFXX Money Market- Safe? Insured? or go with FDIC insured? Ultimately, is VMFXX (Vanguard Federal Money Market aka Vanguad Settlement Funds) safe? How safe is it to leave more than $250k in VMFXX: Vanguard Federal . . . VMFXX is unambiguously riskier than either IMO but still by a very small margin So in the real world where I always have more money in CD's and or term treasuries than cash I don't distinguish VMFXX v VUSXX treasury CD by risk
