WHS Cannot see any PCs in network neighborhood. All other PCs can see . . . Sure it makes sense, that the Administrator on WHS cannot access ressources on the network PCs, unless you use guest access, have set the same password for Administrator on the client as on WHS (and make the account active on the Vista clients) or use stored user names and passwords on WHS to access the remote PCs Best greetings from Germany Olaf
Cant play videos served from WHS share on in Media Center I have a new WHS (OEM) and have copied various video files onto its shared video drive Each of those files can play fine in Windows Media Player 11 on client PCs - but will not play from within Windows Media Center (2 separate cleint PCs have the same issue - one is on XP, the other on Vista) The same is true for avis, wmvs etc
WHS OS Backup Solved - social. microsoft. com I solved WHS OS backup by running two copies of WHS each on its own computer in a virtual machine with each WHS backing up the other (running in a VM makes the WHS a file thus able to be backed up and restored by WHS)
