Thrasher Rods So Cal use | Bloodydecks - BDoutdoors If you do some homework you'll probably find out that Thrasher blanks when comparing power, weight and diameter are a very hard to beat, pound for pound value for an American rolled blank 🇺🇲 My current personal arsenal is a RAW 86, RAW 75, TRMF-80, CrowBar railrod, BSC-7808 and the "must have" TRMF-76H (about to wrap a 2nd one!)
Testing Thrasher rods | Bloodydecks - BDoutdoors The only rod I've used that is comparable in that lower section above the butt, would be one of the Seeker Black Steel line of rods They are a little more bulky and heavier though Still love the BS's but these Thrasher rods we used Sunday are super light and strong Those Winn grips are the shit! The end! As far as the acid wrap Meh
Thrasher trmf76h. | Bloodydecks - BDoutdoors Thrasher TRMF76H with alps guides and reel seat, heat shrink over Eva grips and a simple red and black fade that I built to fish 40 on I used it as a diver rod for a family salmon trip last weekend just to get some blood on it
CINCO de THRASHER. . . | Bloodydecks - BDoutdoors Built these five Thrasher Rods over winter and spring for a couple anglers in San Diego Blanks are two TRMF-76H'S, TRF-80M, RAW 85 and RAW 86 Arsenal will cover 95% of inshore offshore angling, from 10 lbs to 125+ 😉 (Crowbar railrods to match will be next for the bigguns)🐟 Wrapped as practical tools to kill fish, as requested
Thrasher spinning rod build raw 87 build help | Bloodydecks - BDoutdoors i don't know, i just do what i'm told, lol on my rod i'm going to be using the large saragosa reel, and that 30 looks kind of small , and 5 guides for a 7 5' rod doesn't sound right either, but the blanks bend kind of weird when you fish this heavy a line, i think the less the guides the more pressure each guide gets and the last #12 guide looks kind of small for 60-80 lb line drag
Thrasher tr 76 mf h blank for a iron bait rod build? I was considering building a rod on this blank for throwing iron live bait to yellows and schoolie tuna I would pair it up with a Komodo 471 low profile bait caster Any feed back on this blank for this application would be appreciated Thanks

Rod building - grip recommendations | Bloodydecks - BDoutdoors I know Jason hates when I say if but that 7’6” trmf thrasher is a perfect Hali rod unless you are fishing such heavy current that you need 3lbs of lead! If the 7’6” is too light for ya fish the 7’ heavy thrasher for Hali and you can still do live bait work with that one too I don’t understand people who insist on fishing with
