DIY: Grid Heater Delete Permanently fixed my grid heater nut problem today The truck is at 194k miles, and the nut was just fine Cut the heater out with a grinder and cutoff wheel, ground the factory intake elbow outlet to match the intake port as best as possible, and cleaned it all up with a carbide bur Drilled and tapped the heater connection bolt hole for 1 4” NPT, put a plug with sealant in, and ground it
