is UVic really a good school? : r uvic - Reddit UVic is not an ivy league school, but it is a well established school I would say it compares well with University of Calgary, Carleton University, University of Guelph, University of Saskatchewan Established, smaller universities that do really well in some programs, and have a relatively well rounded offering
UVIC : r uvic - Reddit Uvic on the other hand gave me a substantial renewable scholarship and 2 more small additional scholarships Location - I prefer a smaller city and Uvic is closer to family UBC just felt too rich and posh and prestigious, the campus was beautiful but I didn't feel like I could fit in there Another thing is, I don't really think you can go wrong
