Talbots Damsel, what a fish! | Reef2Reef For the record I've had breeding pairs of Azures and Talbots in a 40 breeder I'm down to a single azure due to a mass rose bubble tip spawn a few years back but once the upgraded tank completes it cycle I'll be introducing more Azures, Talbots, and Starcki for sure The color and movement is just amazing

Talbot damsel questions. | Reef2Reef I have a Starkie, 2 Talbots and 2 Rollands in my 4 foot tank The most important part is the rockwork You need lots of caves I also think its important to have height on the rockwork since they pick a cave and defend it Some pick a lower cave and some a higher cave Some in the front and some more the back
Selecting a damsel or Chromis for my tank? | Reef2Reef Damsels you want to stay in the Chrysiptera family So Azures, Talbots, Tracy's, etc As a few stated any fish can become aggressive if the tank isn't set up properly Damsels need a lot of nooks, crannies, and caves to hole up in They will carve out there space and chase some away that try and take it
90 Gallon pros and cons | Reef2Reef I would say a Yellow Tang “would” be out (long term) and an Emperor Angel “definitely would” be out, in a 36” tank Fish more like the Clowns and Talbots that you already have would great You might even push a cool Flame Hawk if you weren’t going to have shrimp Best wishes!
Good group fish | Reef2Reef I don’t personally think they’re worth it given propensity for uronema Leaves you with damsels Choose correctly, with adequate space for them to stake out their micro territories, and they’re the best choice IME I have a mix of yellow tails, azures, Talbots and rollands in my 450 about 60 of them at last count
