Probably going to get flak but . . . my Bul Armory Tac Pro seems to be a . . . He was looking at the Tac Comp which was significantly cheaper than Staccato XC Only downside I see with the Bul is it doesn’t use standard 2011 mags So you’ll have to get Bul mags or MBX mags made for Bul guns I have a few of the mbx bul mags They are trash The followers look like they were 3d printed and carved on by a child and one
Anyone getting good accuracy out of TAC in 223? - AR15. COM So far, TAC has been pretty atrocious in my WOA 20" Predator barrel MP518 (Staball Match) routinely gets me under 1", but TAC has been more like 1 5-2 5" groups Before writing off TAC altogether: Is it more accurate at lower velocities? Most of my loads have been pretty hot, but maybe it likes running a little slower? I've tried 77 69 52 SMKs, 77gr Barnes Matchburners, 75gr Hornady BTHP, and
Reloading 6. 5 grendel, any tips or suggestions on powder . . . - AR15. COM Quoted: Started with 6 5 on my new AR build I've got TAC, Varget, and CFE223 on hand Any other great powders for 123 grain loads that I should be looking at? Shooting from a 20" barrel Per my Lyman manual Varget looks like a great powder but its pricey
Ramshot TAC and . 308 168 grains gt; Reloading gt; AR15. COM I tried TAC in my M700 Varmint Silhouette in 308 I always use Sierra 168's I just couldn't get groups as good as using WW748 I bought the TAC when 335 wasn't available for my 223 loads I use it mostly for blasting ammo for the AR's It still holds decent groups, but I can still get Hodgdon and WW to shoot better in my guns
Best powders for particular grain ranges of bullets in 223 556 - Your . . . I have used two powders for heavy bullets in 223 - TAC and Varget I only use 75 gr Hornady HPBT-M and Sierra 80 gr MatchKings Every time I test, Varget yields better accuracy than TAC (1 2 MOA vs 3 4 MOA at 200 yards) For me, in my measure, using my technique, Varget meters better than most extruded powders (SD = 0 1 gr) TAC throws with SD = 0 014 gr, however, this low dispersion of charge
TAC load data for . 223 and 5. 56 from the source - AR15. COM My plinking load for 55 gr pills out of a 16" 1 in 7 twist is 25 3 gr TAC and a CCI 400 which chronos at 2700fps The initial Ramshot data placed this load as a MAX load which it obviously wasn't 25 3 grains is just barely above the start load in the new data but then again these new specs are for an M-193 power load not a plinking load
Powder for 62gr bullets gt; Reloading gt; AR15. COM Funny you ask, I'm working up a 62gr SS109 plinking load with Tac tonight Currently throwing 24 5gr of CFE in the 62gr loadings for plinking Mild, ballpark accurate loading thats GTG for plinking I want to try a few faster powders since most of my plinking is done from a 10" SBR so there isn't much time for a good powder burn
77 grain OTM loads gt; Reloading gt; AR15. COM Powder was ramshot tac 21 4 grains with a Sierra TMK 77 grain projectile Shot MOA ten round groups No idea about velocities Otherwise same brass but with 20 grains of TAC and Berger 77 OTM Tactical shot sub MOA ten round groups Edit I also gave my brass a 3 thou neck tension with a Redding TIN 245 bushing 4 26 2020 5:21:13 PM EST [#46
Any good load data for a 75 grain Hornday . 223? - AR15. COM I've found that Ramshot TAC powder works very well with Hornaday's bullets in my RRA, Wylde Chambered, 1:9 A-4 AR using a few 1 10ths grain under max charge in my 5 56 X 45 MM NATO level loads (where my rifle's accuracy node is) Surprisingly, my rifle likes Hornady and TAC better than Sierra and Varget Go figure
