SIms 4 not launching in ea app - Answer HQ - EA Answers HQ Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game )

The Sims 4 Steam has no Steam Overlay and disabling Origin In-Game . . . I also have tried "Clear cache" method, moved The Sims 4 Steam folder to somewhere else, performed a "Repair" or "Verify Integrity", ran with or without Admin mode, and still the same I do noticed there's a folder called "__overlay" in TS4 Steam folder (and also with some other EA games folder as well), with overlayinjector exe and steam_api
