Company News:
  • Katagiri or Mitsuwa (NJ)? : r FoodNYC - Reddit
Mitsuwa is a big supermarket with full fish, meat, bakery departments, a large food court, and some high end vendors (k minamoto, etc) If you just want to get snacks and staples places like katagiri or sunrise mart are more convenient
  • Looking for Japanese stores - including surrounding areas
I have heard of Mitsuwa Market in Chicago, though I know very little about it I don't want to just go to a grocery store, and I get the impression that is pretty much just what Mitsuwa is Is there anywhere in the surrounding areas (including as far as Chicago or Indianapolis) that has a good place to go for Japanese imports?
  • Has anyone ever been to Mitsuwa Marketplace in Arlington . . . - Reddit
Has anyone ever been to Mitsuwa Marketplace in Arlington Heights, what did you do there? comments Best Add a Comment cheatersfive • 2 mo ago
  • Best public transportation- Midtown to Edgewater NJ on Weekday? - Reddit
Best public transportation- Midtown to Edgewater NJ on Weekday? Specifically, I'd like to go to Mitsuwa Marketplace around 10am and return to Midtown in the afternoon or early evening during an upcoming trip where I will be staying in the Pod Hotel Times Square for a few weekdays
  • New gachapon in Mitsuwa! : r Hawaii - Reddit
Located in Mitsuwa Marketplace in Waikiki! Hawaii finally has another proper gachapon place after Shirokiya closed I have no idea exactly when this opened, but I think it was in the last few months because I did not see these machines when I went to try Tempura Endo a couple months ago I love gachapon, but I couldn’t justify spending $8 for one : ( Also, International Marketplace this year
  • Best Asian grocery store in New Jersey? : r newjersey - Reddit
My vote is for Mitsuwa, but Woo-Ri Mart in Princeton Junction is also fantastic, and Kam-Man in East Hanover is decent too
  • Mitsuwa Supermarket : r AskChicago - Reddit
Mitsuwa's bookstore, Kinokuniya, is awesome if you're into manga anime, etc LOTS of super (expensive) kawaii stuff in there! Great fun to look around, though Also, if you check their website from time to time, they host special events holidays throughout the year and have some neat seasonal goods
  • I went a little crazy at the Japanese grocery store : r tea - Reddit
Browsed the tea section in my local Japanese grocery store for a good 10 minutes and ended with this haul I grabbed a Sugimoto loose leaf genmaicha and matcha latte mix, a Yama Moto Yama sencha and genmaicha teabags, and a Hamadan yuki matcha Recommendations for my next shopping trip would be very much appreciated!
  • Do we have any japanese supermarkets with lots of bentos lunch boxes . . .
I'm thinking like Mitsuwa or Tokyo Central in California The only place I found was a mini Mart in Mesa and they only sell once a week or something H mart is Korean and selection of lunch boxes is small I'm dying for a nice bento japanese market but can't find one He'll any place with asian lunchboxes with a good selection id be happy with
  • Asian grocery stores : r chicagofood - Reddit
Mitsuwa for Japanese food H-Mart for Korean food and general produce Assi for I would like to point out that none of these are actually in Chicago Joong Boo is a great choice for people in Chicago, towards the west neighborhoods There a also two great Asian grocery stores on Broadway just south of the Argylr stop Not nearly as showy as those above, but a fantastic choice for authentic
