Katagiri or Mitsuwa (NJ)? : r FoodNYC - Reddit Mitsuwa is a big supermarket with full fish, meat, bakery departments, a large food court, and some high end vendors (k minamoto, etc) If you just want to get snacks and staples places like katagiri or sunrise mart are more convenient
Looking for Japanese stores - including surrounding areas I have heard of Mitsuwa Market in Chicago, though I know very little about it I don't want to just go to a grocery store, and I get the impression that is pretty much just what Mitsuwa is Is there anywhere in the surrounding areas (including as far as Chicago or Indianapolis) that has a good place to go for Japanese imports?

New gachapon in Mitsuwa! : r Hawaii - Reddit Located in Mitsuwa Marketplace in Waikiki! Hawaii finally has another proper gachapon place after Shirokiya closed I have no idea exactly when this opened, but I think it was in the last few months because I did not see these machines when I went to try Tempura Endo a couple months ago I love gachapon, but I couldn’t justify spending $8 for one : ( Also, International Marketplace this year
Mitsuwa Supermarket : r AskChicago - Reddit Mitsuwa's bookstore, Kinokuniya, is awesome if you're into manga anime, etc LOTS of super (expensive) kawaii stuff in there! Great fun to look around, though Also, if you check their website from time to time, they host special events holidays throughout the year and have some neat seasonal goods
I went a little crazy at the Japanese grocery store : r tea - Reddit Browsed the tea section in my local Japanese grocery store for a good 10 minutes and ended with this haul I grabbed a Sugimoto loose leaf genmaicha and matcha latte mix, a Yama Moto Yama sencha and genmaicha teabags, and a Hamadan yuki matcha Recommendations for my next shopping trip would be very much appreciated!
Do we have any japanese supermarkets with lots of bentos lunch boxes . . . I'm thinking like Mitsuwa or Tokyo Central in California The only place I found was a mini Mart in Mesa and they only sell once a week or something H mart is Korean and selection of lunch boxes is small I'm dying for a nice bento japanese market but can't find one He'll any place with asian lunchboxes with a good selection id be happy with
