Backward Classes Welfare Department - Pre-matric-hostels The Backward Classes Welfare Department has 1277 Pre-Matric hostels (993 Boys and 284 Girls), with sanctioned strength of 53197 boys and 15606 girl’s students respectively with total sanctioned strength of 68803 students
