James Ra - Curtis Institute of Music James Ra’s recent commissions include Te Deum for Robert Spano and the Curtis Symphony, Fantasia on Sae Taryung for pianist Min Kwon and the New Jersey Symphony, and Ring O Bells for the New Jersey Youth Symphony He studied with Richard Danielpour and Ned Rorem, graduating from Curtis in 2004
James Ra | Classically Connected Ra was the Young Composer-in-Residence at Music From Angel Fire and has also served as Composer-in-Residence for the Korean Concert Society in Washington D C Recently, he has collaborated with the Vienna Boys Choir on a documentary film scheduled to air on PBS
