Brass Razors - Badger Blade I'm partial to brass, probably because of all the vintage razors I have that are made of brass And because brass is durable around water Plumbing fixtures and fittings are made of brass And ammunition cartridges are brass And the antibacterial and antimicrobial properties I just can't get over the idea that brass makes sense
What happened to Gillette Sensor razors?. . . . Need advice! I went out to the Gillette site and didn't see anything but potato peelers, LOL The only thing they had that looked anything like the old Sensors were disposables, and I always hated disposable razors, as they never lasted long at all I could make those Sensor cartridges last forever Suggestions would be really appreciated
Modern Double-Edged Safety Razors Ranked by Aggressiveness Double-Edged Safety Razors Ranked by Aggressiveness (for a nice description of aggressiveness with illustrations, but was perhaps misnamed as it doesn't actually contain a list of razors) Double-Edged Safety Razors Ranked by Blade Gap (a lesser aspect of razor aggressiveness) Double-Edged Safety Razors Ranked by Head Weight
Cased Modern Razors - Badger Blade The only modern razors that I own that have come with an actual case are my Gillette Heritage and my Lambda Athena The Heriage has a faux leather case (which is the reason I use it for travel) and the Athena has a gorgeous mahogany case I appreciate members' ingenuity when it comes to making
Guide to American Button Company Pocket Edition Sets: Part One - Razors . . . These were full sized razors and were sold in leather covered wooden cases At some point in 1908 Gillette contracted with the American Button Company of Newark, New Jersey to produce a new style of razor The new razors would consist of new and unusual designs where the razor handle was shaped somewhat like a Grecian column
Razors ranked - Badger Blade Razors I can find online: - Mühle - Merkur - Edwin Jagger - Parker - Feather - Dovo - Baili (and various chinese clones) - Lord (L625 etc ) I may be wrong, but from what I've read I guess Muhle R89, Merkur 34C, EJ DE89, and Feather TTO are going to be similar to my Gillette KC
Tatara Masamune vs Feather AS-D2 | Badger Blade The CNC machining of all three pieces seems very exact and detailed, I could not find any imperfections or scratches We can see below a side-by-side comparison of the two razors The Feather has a chromier look and both razors have a similar low profile which makes it very easy to reach those areas under the nose or around the ear lobes
Please Welcome Rowen Razor to Badger and Blade I certainly think it is true I think a large reason that Yaqi and DS Cosmetic "clone" razors exist is a) they are producing CNC razors inspired by rare unusual historical designs that aren't readily available in good condition (e g Bohemia, Harlequin, etc ) and b) they are catering to the huge market outside of the US
Which Aluminum Razor? Why? - Badger Blade Henson razors (I own two Hensons) are very good and you can't go wrong with one, but the Meteorite aluminum is more appealing to me, especially considering the three plates included There is a 30 day trial period for the Meteorite, so no worries if you don't like it (you will)
