Question For those using RamAir triple filter | R3Owners I like the Ramair ! It fits nicely under the bear claw , is easy to take on and off for maintenance and the intake temperature sensor is catered for with a housing in the Ramair mount and a cable extension Intake noise is improved As for performance ? All the high flow filters will give power gains if mated to an aftermarket exhaust !
RamAir or K N | R3Owners I can't speak from experience yet as my RamAir has yet to arrive, but here are my thoughts I bought the RamAir because of the ease of relocating the the air temperature sensor I also took into consideration that I believe they have corrected their material problem where the older housing material was cracking around where they clamped
Map for 2013 Rocket Roadster (Ramair + Dave Platt Outlaw exhausts) I am based in the UK and have recently bought a 2013 Roadster (and also recently joined this forum) The bike already had a ramair filter and I just put on Dave Platt outlaw exhausts I don't think it had been tuned properly in the past and the new exhausts seems to have made it worse I have got ECUTune and am looking to put on a decent map
How do you clean a Ramair Filter? - R3Owners Bought the Ramair cleaning and re-impregnation kit during the recent sale and now I am thinking how to clean the thing Normal foam filters come apart and you wash the foam out and re-oil It doesn't look like the Ramair comes apart Does someone have experience with this and could share the procedure Cheers
