Chess computer on Gameknot too strong? : r chess - Reddit Chess computer on Gameknot too strong? On Lichess org, the chess computers are run on the stockfish engine and I do pretty well against level 4-5 (1700 elo or so) It's a completely different story when I try to play on gameknot though

Does anybody use gameknot for correspondance chess? Does anybody use gameknot for correspondance chess? I've been using gameknot for correspondance chess for what seems like it must be a decade Always struck me as really easy to use, well designed Am I missing the boat on something better? What are all you folks using?

Gameknot? : r chess - Reddit Gameknot? I see lots of discussion about lichess and chess com Almost none about Gameknot I use gameknot, and really like it, especially the league games and ladder games I just wonder why it doesn't seem so popular here, any thoughts?
Why am I so bad at live chess? : r chess - Reddit Anyways, gameknot recently added live chess, and I am shockingly terrible at it I have lost something like 90% of my live games (3-5 min + 10 sec) and my rating is around 950
Does anyone else feel like a lot of chess content resources . . . - Reddit It seems like every site I've tried: lichess, chess com, gameknot, etc all have this same problem with puzzles Most of them are way too focused on exploiting opponent blunders to win massive material or get some fast checkmating attack in the midgame I'm rated 1700 and I don't find puzzles to be a useful tool for improvement anymore because my opponents simply don't make terrible blunders
