Petticoat Junction- Official 1st Season | Home Theater Forum If I'm not mistaken, the MPI "Petticoat Junction" set did NOT contain all the 1st Season episodes So it only makes sense that CBS Paramount would go back and offer the entire 1st Season The reason they jumped to the 2nd Season with the "Hillbillies" is because MPI had put out two dvd sets, and had actually covered the entire 1st Season
Petticoat Junction - Home Theater Forum Anyone know of any news for Petticoat Junction I had heard some time ago there was some legal wrangling keeping it from being shown and put on DVD Then recently I read at tvshowsondvd com that there was some talk of a "Best of" type of deal Anyone know anything about that?
Petticoat Junction-Remaining Series on DVD? - Home Theater Forum The only reason CBS decided to renew PETTICOAT JUNCTION for a seventh season in 1969 was so the network would have five seasons worth of color episodes to air in syndication, which would be very profitable for the network The black-and-white episodes of PETTICOAT JUNCTION were not typically shown in the syndication rotation
Petticoat Junction Season 3???? Any news yet? - Home Theater Forum Petticoat Junction, for me, never really "jumped the shark" though it never recovered from the loss of Bea Benederet either Still, the writing during the June Lockhart seasons remained strong and the three girls, especially Lori Saunders, blossomed into quality comedy performers to help fill the gap left by the loss of Bea
Petticoat Junction-Remaining Series on DVD? - Home Theater Forum I watched Petticoat Junction during its original run After the loss of Bea Benaderet, the show was never the same The death of Smiley Burnette was another loss for me, Mr Burnette having been a favorite of mine in so many Gene Autry westerns Still - I will watch my CBS DVDs and ME TV captures and enjoy Petticoat Junction quite fondly
