Tent Camping at EAA Airventure Oshkosh : r flying - Reddit Piggybacking on this thread as a first time fly-in camper to Oshkosh: Are there camp stores on site for things like groceries and toiletries? Appleton, Oshkosh Eau Claire, which is y’all’s favorite? Oshkosh is last on that list by a country mile or 7 (partly because it's Oshkosh and also its all of 20 minutes from appleton to Oshkosh) Appleton has lots of good resources, central part of state easy to navigate Eau Claire has a lot of upcoming money being invested and is a beautiful area, and close enough the twin cities are within reach
Camping in Oshkosh North 40. NEVER camped before. Period. At Oshkosh, it's completely reasonable to camp without cooking; you've got restaurants, a liquour store and a real grocery store within a mile and a half of the friar tuck gate, and more carnival food than you can shake a stick at out the main gate, besides the overpriced food on the grounds
Help—trying to remember the name of an old restaurant : r Oshkosh (Highly recommend if you’re ever in Sheboygan!!) That’s what got me thinking of the one in Oshkosh (I went to UW-O) Interestingly, the building that housed Sheboygan’s Baxter’s is quite old, too It began its life as a Montgomery Ward’s It’s also been home to quite a few restaurants and nightclubs
