Anyone used BBA or Modulemaster for E36 ABS control unit. . . I called BBA and Modulemaster re: sending my control unit in for rebuild BBA keeps referring me to a module in the engine compartment, connected to the ABS pump, that I need to send in Now on an E39 5-series, this is an easily accessed part I can't even see the part on my E36--I assume it's under the ABS pump, underneath the master cylinder

ABS Control EBCM Module fault code 7 - BimmerFest BMW Forum After scanning numerous ABS-related postings on the forums, I am guessing that I need to replace the ABS Control Module, or in my version of vehicle, it's the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) located somewhere under the dash (it has Bosch 5 0 ABS hydraulic module so it's not rebuildable as shown on ModuleMaster web site)
