simple complete tracking and linked checking — Quicken I left simple tracking on the retirement accounts No linked checking and I'm not really using Quicken to manage them and don't need detail on each dividend in Quicken Interestingly, the Fidelity IRA had a money market position, but Merrill Lynch's had neither cash nor money market So I suspect that the brokers are part of the problem
Savings account got set up as Checking. Can this be changed . . . - Quicken Under Account Details, this is shown as a Checking Account But it is really a Savings account I just set up One Step Update for this account and Quicken did not prompt me to match the download with an existing account, and I suspect the Account Detail is the issue

Checking account balance is wrong - Quicken Thank you for the reply I haven't downloaded transactions from my checking account since August When I downloaded the qfx file I noticed that the balance is off After troubleshooting, it would seem that Quicken isn't importing all of the transactions compared to the paper statement I use Eglin FCU Any help is appreciated

Change Account Type — Quicken Hi @RLBernier Unfortunately, you can't just change the "account type" from checking to savings But, the workaround for that would be to: 1) make a backup of your file (in case something goes wrong) 2) create a new account in Quicken - setup from the beginning as a "Savings" type, 3) then you can move the transactions from the current "Checking" type account to the new account
