New boat coming has all Lowrance units with active target I am guessing it is a step behind the garmin, but I am going with it and selling my boat without pulling anything off Version 1 or 2? Which Map Card for Lowrance HDS Units - In-Depth Outdoors I’m looking at map chips for Lowrance HDS and there are too many options For those of you that use Lowrance which map card is the most useful? Mainly fishing WI, MN, and the U P , most important features to my are accuracy of contours and the ability to offset for water depth I know a lot of this depends on the quality of mapping for the lakes I fish, but is one much better than the other
Lakemaster chip in a Lowrance unit - In-Depth Outdoors Get a Lowrance Lake Insight Chip, it uses the same mapping data Lakemaster had, plus recent updates My old Lake Master chip is better for some bodies of water than the Lake Insight chip, so I wouldn’t say it has the same mapping data
FAQ – Lowrance Tips and Tricks - In-Depth Outdoors Lowrance makes multiple different mapping chips, but the ones that I have had the best luck with in the Upper Midwest (mostly Minnesota and part of Canada) is the Lowrance Lake Insight Pro
Problem with Structure scan; cannot find solution - Lowrance . . . Which Lowrance unit are you running…HDS? I am a little confused with your comment from your dealer on sensitivity The Structure scan only has contrast not sensitivity It almost sounds like you might need to adjust you transducer for the LSS-1 or maybe your motor is getting in the way of the LSS-1 signal Does you 2d sonar work OK?
