Libre2 versus finger prick readings vastly different. - Diabetes I'm fairly new to constant glucose monitoring having used the Libre2 system for a few months However I find there is a massive difference between it's reading and finger prick tests Does anyone else get this? So I have been using Libre 2 for a while now and haven't had 1 sensor last 15 days They have lasted between 8 hours and 11 days at best I have found them very unreliable Has anyone else had this issue? False lows on freestyle libre2 at night. | Diabetes Forum In my personal experience I always found the libre to be inaccurate, I know that all CGM’s aren’t 100% accurate as they read behind blood levels but out of the 2 CGM’s I’ve had libre was far worse for accuracy

How Freestyle Libre 2+ measured against an actual A1c result. My Freestyle Libre 2 plus has for some time estimated that my A1c was 37mmol mol, based on 90 day glucose data from the sensor My actual result from a blood test just taken was 43mmol mol I would say the Libre fairly consistently underestimates my blood glucose by perhaps 20% I tend to forget
FreeStyle Libre Review - Flash Monitoring and Blood Glucose Meter The Abbott FreeStyle Libre has come as an entirely new concept in glucose monitoring by providing much greater data than blood glucose testing whilst being more affordable than continuous glucose monitors (CGM)
