Adding overlay to source footage afterwards - Blackmagic Forum Hello everyone, new user of DaVinci Resolve, first time posting on the forum In my project, I have a dozen different source footage which I have cut in many small clips My timelines have many clips from most of the source footage But now in hindsight I want to have some overlay indicating the different source footage For example, a title in the bottom left like "Camera 1", "Camera 2", etc I don't know how to achieve this, after trying a lot I can easily make the replacement footage
Resolve crashes at ungrouping a macro group - Blackmagic Forum I'm working on my own titles and created a FusionComp I then made a Macro and saved this as group Now I want to edit the comp and therefor added the title to the timeline and switched to fusion page There I can open the group and work inside it, but ungrouping it crashes Resolve immediately Is there something I have to be aware of I don't know? Atmos through HDMI with New 8K G2? - Blackmagic Forum Has anyone used a Decklink 8K Pro G2 to monitor atmos coming out of Resolve through hdmi? The specs say HDMI Audio Outputs 8 Channels embedded in TMDS 32 Channels embedded in FRL That seems like it would work Doing 7 1 through HDMI now with all the other products works well so it seems like it would work Just map the HDMI channels to the channels on the home theater processor and then benefit from the latency and room correction of the processor with 1 hdmi output
Blackmagic Forum • View topic - Workspace Layout Troubles I just updated to Resolve 20 and the whole layout just changed, I previously had it set to be similar adobe premier (selected premier when prompted) But now its changed and extremely confusing, I have searched for slutions but each time come back with, gotta change it ypurself, and I've been trying and failing I can't get rid of the double video view, one is timeline 1 and the other is the video itself, i just want the timeline view Please help, and importantly if anyone has a layout
