Boutique Bike Builder Janus Going Flat Track Racing Boutique motorcycle builder Janus is going racing—flat track racing And that is quite a cool thing We first told you about Janus back in 2019 as a small operation out of Indiana Their founders, Richard Worsham and Devin Biek, started Janus as restorers and modifiers of mopeds and later started hand-building small-displacement single-cylinder machines with a very retro look
Small Changes To Janus Halcyon 250 For 2023 - Adventure Rider Janus also has Black Friday pricing on its 250 lineup (rather early in the season for Black Friday… ), offering $300 off their bikes and 20 percent off upgrades and options if ordered before November 20, 2023 This deal does not apply to the 450 line
Janus Motos thread | Page 28 | Adventure Rider Does Janus themselves do all the engine hot-rod work for something like that or did a PO do it? Because a ~25-30hp Janus sounds like a LOT of fun Click to expand One of the founders of Janus, Devin Biek, setup his own shop (MotoCult Parts in Goshen, IN) hot rodding Janii and the Honda CG250 motor clone
Janus Gryffin 250. Has anyone looked into one of these? The Anus doesn't make much sense, price wise You can pick up a Suzuki Van Van or TU250 for 2 grand less and they're both more bike Both have the vintage vibe while being fuel injected and minimal maintenance I also think the tank is too high The frame seems designed for a taller engine #10 SATEX, Dec 6, 2017 #11
Adventure Rider The guys building these things are more in love with the idea of building them than selling a bike for the mass market It's a bike for a niche market, a very small niche market $50 bucks say they are gone in another 2 years tops Once they build enough of them they will have to comply with EPA regs Complying with the regs is what put chopper builders like Jessie James West Coast Choppers
the Honda XR150L thread | Page 235 | Adventure Rider Can one simply disconnect, or does it need to somehow be reinstalled? I've also had great success with a Nibbi carb on a Janus Halcyon 250 (CG250 motor) but it raises the same questions Really puzzled by that carb heater I'm willing to try without, but don't know what that does to the control circuitry on the bike Suggestions welcome! Honda Trail CT125 Solo Attempt to Almost Canada on the Mid Atlantic . . . Then there’s the Janus Gryffin 250 Johnny Pow thought seriously about this bike for the TAT Again, it’s a Chinese Honda engine clone It’s almost too hipster though I’d definitely have to get my facial hair game in order to own this I’d probably also have to buy the correct open-faced helmet and goggles
