Setting BISS and ISC Range - GalantVR4. org You want the ISC in the middle of it's range, while adjusting the BISS for optimal setting (Our idle should be 800 RPMs) But what exactly is the middle of it's range? isc not working - GalantVR4. org So replaced the ISC after my last ecu blew a driver, I replaced the ecu and rewired the pump as some of you may remember, I have a bad idle surge now, and I adjusted the biss all the way in and still idles and fluctuates around 12-1600 rpms, The ISC I pulled out to see if it'd move with the key

After bootim the ECU homes the ISC by stepping it all the way out, then back to 0, before moving to the position for starting the car Remember that idle surge is caused generally caused by too much air bypassing the closed throttle plate
