Folder icons become black squares or boxes in windows explorer when i try to use 'save as' option, in the new explorer window all the folder icons appear as black squares, whereas the other icons like mp3 files appear fine I'm using windows 8 The only way to fix it is system restore, but the folder icons will only display correctly for the day
