Hampton Inn, Garden Inn, or DoubleTree? : r Hilton - Reddit These properties are in a 2 block radius - the HI is the best rated with reno’d rooms, Garden Inn has older rooms but a nicer lobby, and the DoubleTree obv gives more points and a possible upgrade with my Diamonds status ($20 nt more than the other two but it’s the worst rated) Truly, any opinion helps!!! Hilton Garden Inns are supposed to slot in a notch or two above Hampton Inns, but especially since the pandemic, HGIs seem to suffer from physical neglect, low amateur staffing, deleted benefits, and lack of reinvestment (broken stuff, from elevators to ice machines to AC)
