Map Update - Traverse Forum Long time GPS user doing home service and even my Garmin's updated regularly didn't have new developments and roads in it Phone was pretty good on newer roads but it still was lacking My '11 Tahoe's GPS does fine with established roads and it's never been updated, if I have a issue with it I just pull out the phone as we always have it

Does the Navigation System work without an On-Star. . . Thanks for the info guys They should make the nav system and On-star totally independent of eachother I currently have a Magellan GPS Unit, with turn by turn voice prompts, and it's great The only problem is, you have to mount it to the window with a suction mount when you want to use it
