Squire Rockwells Ginos was great when the alternatives were McDonalds and Burger King I saw the Roys takeover as a step up though Also I seem to recall that Ginos was gone before Squire Rockwell opened I don't believe I ever ate at the restaurant at SR, but on several occasions when meeting people at the bar we'd end up eating there

Old pictures of Fairfax county, love em! I know the Popeyes in Chantilly was a Ginos and was never torn down rebuilt There was one at 50 and 123, which is now a CVS or other drug store, but that was torn down when it closed as a Roy Rogers Any others out there I am forgetting? Gino's was the only place to serve Kentucky Fried Chicken and Roys for awhile there
Annandale Back in the Day Ginos had great hamburgers and milk shakes Other parts of Annandale included the Annandale Movie Theater, Juvenile Sales toy stores, Jack-in-the-Box restaurant, People Drug Store next to Giant Food, Dawsons Gun (and Tackle) Shop, Three Chefs restaurant
Aunt Jemimas Kitchen - Fairfax Circle, ANYONE remember this place? As a kid in the late 1960's I remember going with my family to a restaurant around Fairfax Circle called Aunt Jemima's Kitchen It was a pancake place similar to a modern Denny's or IHOP Anyway, I can't find anyone else that remembers it Does anyone remember which shopping center this was located at and when it closed? Annandale Burger King old Gino's A 1970's image of a puzzle I found online vs the current Burger King I don't think the puzzle is the exact same location but the building is the same Back when Gino's carried KFC in addition to their own burgers Anyone remember when the big KFC bucket on the sign used to rotate at some locations? How come signs don't spin anymore?? I remember when most gas
