is UVic really a good school? : r uvic - Reddit UVic is not an ivy league school, but it is a well established school I would say it compares well with University of Calgary, Carleton University, University of Guelph, University of Saskatchewan Established, smaller universities that do really well in some programs, and have a relatively well rounded offering

UVic vs UBC : r uvic - Reddit UVic is a much nicer campus with good transit options close to shops, residential areas, etc You can even walk to stores if needed The UBCO campus is pretty isolated to the rest of Kelowna with not much in walking distance Winters are much milder in Victoria too
UVic Parking 101 : r uvic - Reddit UVic is public space, so the general lots are open to the public Signing up in the parking portal as a guest or a student doesn't really make a difference, outside maybe when you need to appeal a citation, your school email makes it easier
