Will the Gold Star Esperanza root from cuttings? - Daves Garden btw - I took the softwood parts from the Esperanza for rooting A few of the trimmed branches were a bit wilted before I even considered trying to root them, so I got them in water asap and then selected the better looking ones and only took the soft tips from the ends of the branches
Tecoma esperanza yellow bells has not leafed out. . . . These do leaf out late for me, but I've been disappointed with the 'Gold Star' version of this plant I had excellent luck with both the West Texas Tecoma stans and the tall Tecoma garrocha (Orange Bells) in the thin caliche dirt of my old house at Canyon Lake, but they just aren't thriving in the blackland prairie dirt in my new house near Driftwood Austin
Is the honey produced from Tecoma stans pollen poisonous? - Daves Garden I dont actually know this answer, but I do notice that honeybbees arent attracted to my fall blooming esperanza, bumbles are, but not the honeybees They arent really attracted to my basils either like the bumbles are A hot dry summer the honeybees have to be distracted from my hummer feeders, so I change around my hummer hangers
