Ernie Ball (and general) cable types differences and info - Reddit Coiled cables look great but easily get tangled For normal use, regular types are recommended and roll them up same direction every time, loops big enough, twisting too much will cause damage Length just long enough to be comfortable, not longer than needed, you'd get more signal loss, longer cables affect the sound Patch cables are same types, longer is not needed and would give signal
