Materials list changes for XL tubing - XL - Eaglers Nest I have to believe that my plans are a mix of LE and LEXL, especially the materials list re:I am putting together an order and note the list has square tubing required as 1 2" X 035 and 1 2" X 049
LEXL Bill of Materials - XL - Eaglers Nest I don't know where you are putting 55' of 1 2x035 ,I use about 22' when I weld a fuselage and rudder pedals you have omitted the 1 125x 120 used for the engine mount spools 6" needed The rest looks pretty close, JohnB

XL material list - page 2 - XL - Eaglers Nest yeah in most apps 058 is the traditional mate to the next size smaller tube think yall are talking about the short tailpost that the vert stab fits into? if so even 035 wall will be ok there IMO its all gonna be cinched down with the brace wires and it aint gonna go anywhere locked down tight if you got probs with 063 already welded in its no big deal atall to cut it out handheld angle
