Prodigy Boats | Duck Hunting Forum Been doing some research and looking at other boats out there, there is a company in Jasper Georgia called Prodigy Boats and from the looks of it are some great built and nice looking boats

Best dual purpose rig- hunting and fishing | Duck Hunting Forum The second option would be a 1754 or 1854 mud boat custom built by Prodigy boats with a Gator Tail mud motor This would obviously be the best choice for duck hunting, but I'm afraid would be the worst choice for fishing
Outboard or Surfsce Drive??? | Duck Hunting Forum Prodigy is built near OP and there are dozens of 1 year old prodigy's and other SDs floating around classifieds because the Georgia owners realize they don't have the need for one, don't understand the maintenance required on a surface drive, and all of a sudden are upside down and in debt for a boat they don't need to shoot the minimal birds
What size motor are you running on an 1860? - Duck Hunting Forum Essentially all the gatortail, prodrive, prodigy, etc boats are designed the same and probably respond similarly It hunts well and fishes well, but doesn't handle chop well Being that you're in OK where winds can get bad, a second bigger rig would be nice for fishing For the motors, they all run the same power heads

Mud Boat vs Jon Boat - Duck Hunting Forum Most of hunting comes in the form of inland lakes Im stuck in between a surface drive mud boat (gator tail, havoc mst, or a prodigy) or a regular outboard on an all welded jon boat (alumacraft waterfowler 16, lowe 16, war eagle, or a havoc) I dont hunt anywhere where its gonna take a mud boat to get from the launch area to the desired hunting
