Diamond i. d. ing w blacklight - Colorado Prospector - Gem and mineral . . . ive been playing around with a small DC powered blacklight i dont know if its a short or long wave but is there a visual difference in using these two sources on diamonds? do diamonds from different areas illuminate as different colors? i tried it on my wifes wedding ring and only 1 stone illuminated as a dull green the others looked like a dull purple now my wifes looking at me kinda
