Will ITV c4 ever broadcast in UHD 4K — Digital Spy I have been enjoying watching Wimbledon and Glastonbury in UHD recently on BBC However neither ITV and Channel 4 ever broadcast anything in the format Even when major tournaments such as the World Cup are shown ITV still uses standard HD I suspect this is because they are run for profit only and 4K would mean reduced profits What do people think?

Freeview HD channels could be removed by end of 2026 That would still save the BBC some money and you mean 2026 not 2016 as you keep posting Well over half of household have at lest one TV thats full HD or HD ready (720p) If you take the Irish DTT service Saorview The RTE channels on there are HD only Just keep the SD channels that still dont have a HD version on Freeview
