Connect the controller to the PC via USB cable Turn on controller (for me at this stage the controller worked as normal while connected with the wire) Disconnect the USB cable (PC should lose connection to the controller and the controller should turn off) Put the controller back in pairing mode, and then pair it from the PC one last time
