Food Basic Needs – Cornerstones Community Food Resources Cornerstones, along with other nonprofit, faith-based organizations, schools and government programs, is working on several fronts to end hunger and address the root causes of poverty and food insecurity One first step has been the creation of an inventory of supplemental and subsidized food providers in the larger Herndon-Reston area
Financial Assistance – Cornerstones When a person receives any financial assistance, they are required to attend a financial literacy class run in a partnership between Herndon-Reston FISH and Cornerstones If a client fails to participate in the Financial Literacy class, the agency will suspend any additional support
