There is nothing much to explain, but I had encounter sentences like "Quiero una falda bonita como la tuya" and "Mi mama es mas joven que la tuya" on Duolingo and I am very curious on whether there is a specific answer to why "la" was used in both of these sentences when you can just say "como tuya" and "que tuya"
