Go to the transom and look for two black wires coming from the transom plate (behind the engine) and going into two connectors, one with purple white wire and one with two blue white wires Those are the trim limit switch wires To test, unplug the black wires and take a short piece and jumper between the two connectors

cleaning boat with toilet bowl cleaner - iboats Boating Forums I used toilet bowl cleaner ("It Works") to remove the dirt staining on my hull after leaving my boat in the river for a few days I found that spraying it on and letting it sit for a few minutes and then wiping off worked well I definitely recommend wearing gloves and long sleeves as the cleaner will for sure burn your skin upon contact

Re: Mercruiser I O wont trim up, trailer works, help? that's a pretty classic symptom there's plenty of posts on here with troubleshooting techniques and manuals for this just search for em most likely a trim position or limit switch that has gone bad or wire broken corroded through does your trim position gauge read out? you can still use your trailer button to achieve your trim needs
