My BFD 3. 5 Upgrade: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly Just a datapoint: I’m not currently using BFD much, but I did upgrade to 3 5, and I’ve fooled around with the standalone app several times I haven’t seen the license validation delay you mention (with the standalone app) When I launch it, there’s a brief “BFD3” startup window for ~2 sec, then a black window the size of the standalone app that displays a login progress indicator
Cant download core library - installscript. bfdis missing The BFD License manager is able to help users re-activate BFD 3 4 however, we are aware (and working on) a solution to fix issues associated with the core library and expansion content failing to download
BFD3 is the best drum plugin period - BFD Forum BFD is awesome I’ve used many a crappy drum machine…and the Roland 760 samplers…painstakingly trying to get out of them what BFD does The Roland was easily the closest But still not even close to BFD I have a good collection of sounds now BFD just lets me get on with the main task… writing the song and building the arrangements

A few questions about BFD Player I’ve never tried BFD3, what’s lacking in BFD Player compared to BFD3? What can we hope for in term of future expansions for BFDPlayer? Is there any planning for releasing expansions? Like one every few months or something? Any specic genres planned, like metal or jaz brushes?
