Happened to me just recently after restarting I turned off Aster to update video drivers and windows and couldn't get place 2 to activate I've tried reinstalling aster, getting the latest version, several reboots turning aster on off
Aster does not work Run ASTER as admin then go to Workplaces tab->Right click on the system image ->Special settings->oldboot->Apply After applying, You need to disable ASTER, restart PC, enable ASTER again, and run workplaces
