Speedtest. net difference between app and web : r HomeNetworking - Reddit I tried speedtest net on chrome on my phone and I get 160mbps I went to microsoft store to download speedtest net app on my laptop and I also get 700mbps+ Why is there such a major difference? What is your favourite speedtest? : r HomeNetworking - Reddit What is your favourite speedtest? SpeedTest. com and Fast. com showing wildly different results. . . Which to . . . Maybe speedtest was just overloaded at the time, or the unique pathway to it was congested, or they are capping free tests or whatever And fast com was not busy, or closer to you, or whatever Like all tests, the bigger and more varied the sample size, the closer you'll get to your true results
Download speeds on steam are much slower than speedtests : r . . . - Reddit The second thing would be your ISP throttling the steam download to save some bandwidth ISPs can generally see when you are doing a speedtest and they will give you what you pay for when testing Try doing a speedtest while downloading If the download speed in steam increases during the speedtest, then that's probably the issue
What internet speed test do you trust? : r HomeNetworking - Reddit I generally go for Speedtest net because that seems to be what most ISPs will use as reasonable proof of performance When you say 400Mbps are you wired or wireless? What's your plan supposed to be? What kind of internet?
UDM Pro Integrated Speed Test : r Ubiquiti - Reddit The speedtest net server that it uses is displayed while running the test It's also listed in small print in the results on the web page I usually get similar results when I match the servers What I find odd is that the speedtest app and the UDMP default to different servers
Speedtest by Ookla being inaccurate? : r techsupport - Reddit The best way to test is to choose different servers in your area on speedtest Also, realize that depending where the test server is located, you'll need to take whatever result you get with a grain of salt due to latency caused by distance
