I don't suggest downloading from there but if you really want, make sure to Virus scan the file Once the file is downloaded, right click and click "Scan with microsoft defender " If there is a Virus, Permanently delete the file
is Modland safe? | BeamNG Here's one mod from modland net, This mod doesn't just have bad crash physics But its also a leaked mod from @Alexio and @Fralexio though almost all of their mods are leaked The mod is bad because it's an unedited H-series jbeam and there's no broken headlights texture
How trustworthy is Modland? : r BeamNG - Reddit I've been using mods from only the repository so far And there are a lot of great mods there But I've seen quite a few nice looking cars from modland I have heard modland is less than trustworthy and might spread viruses etc So what is the consesus on using it? I'm fairly well versed in internet safety and do take precautions but dont want to take unneccesary risks using risky sites

Modland | BeamNG Modland has low quality mods, stolen mods, leaked mods, mods with stolen assets, mods with potential viruses It's really poorly moderated so you have no idea what could be in the files, and viruses aside it's bad to support a site that allows leaks and stealing The safest place to download mods is the repo, the safest place to download real cars is the forums
