It was the 5th gen that didn't have an external filter The 6th does, and has a drain plug too! Do drain and fills every 30k miles! Should be good! My 17 has 68k miles

2016 Automotive transmission fluid sensor - Nissan Altima Forum i had 2018 altima sv go limp mode and had codes po0841, and 12 others so i had my body valve replaced and replaced sensors on it now it goes limp mode at stops once i get going it’s fine once i stop at light it won’t go no check engine light til 3days later with code po776 for both codes it says obviously it got new fluid and filter at body vavle replacement so i am stump n so is machanic
