What are your opinions on Zybooks? So I'm curious what everyone's opinions are for the Zybooks based courses I am in the CS program, and have taken a handful of courses using Zybooks I don't think they're that bad I like the format, the challenge activities, and the Labs

Zybooks makes me irrationally angry I understand they try to make it “hands on” so you get to read things, then submit things, but I find Zybooks to be so incredibly annoying I’d much rather be in an IDE or, better yet, in a terminal text editor, programming and then running my compile commands and getting into my code that way than doing Zybooks exercises Coding + Zybooks is trash

I think Zybooks is a terrible resource to learn Python, but it's essential to use Zybooks for practicing the labs on there because you will know what to expect when taking the assessment I recommend you to go to Angela Yu's 100 days of Python course on Udemy and do the first 17 sections of the course

ZyBooks is a bit weird because depending on the particular resource, there’s quite a bit cutting and pasting as well as watering down of other existing textbooks I sort of get the point of what they’re aiming for: a custom knowledge resource that’s tailored to the course
