So VirtualBox only can be installed into paths where only Administrators or system accounts have the ability to do so Quite smart, one of the ONLY program ever made which have such paranoid requirement, and what do we gain for this ? Annoyance and wasted time, thank you guys, really, such improvements are so great and enjoyable !

Oracle acquired Virtualbox (and MySql) as part of their take-over of Sun Microsystems a few years ago In true Oracle fashion they immediately started monetizing VirtualBox by creating their own paid-for support program The Oracle VM version ties into that, but is nothing more than a rebrand of a slightly older version VirtualBox

Solution: 1 Power of the VM machine 2 Go to the settings of your VM - System - Boot Order - Uncheck Floppy 3 Press OK 4 Go to the folder where your VM is stored (default is Home - VirtualBox VMs) 5 Delete all 3 files that start with "Unattended" 6 Power on the VM machine 7 Click OK on the warning 8 Press any key to continue All done, now it should work as normal Credit: https: www

When you run a program (e g VirtualBox) as an admin, there's probably no need to intercept CreateProcess calls I'm not sure why intercepting doesn't work between a fresh install of VirtualBox and the host reboot, though
