Quadrajet bogs or hesitates if I get on the gas when accelerating while changing gears if I get on the gas more than normal If I let off the gas and get on it right good it will hesitate or bog down What should I look for to fix this problem?

Quadrajet fuel bowl level and leaking fuel I noticed on my last tear down the clip pin that the float balances on, sits a little higher than the main body so when the top plate is installed it pushes down and alters the float reading somewhat i pinched the clip together alittle so now its atleast flush with the main bowl will try this out and post back

- Edelbrock Quadrajet 1904 Throttle shaft size - Cliffs High Performance
Hello Cliff and all, I want to purchase a throttle shaft bushing kit for my Edelbrock Quadrajet 1904, but I don't know what size throttle shaft came on this unit Would you or anyone know if it's the 3 8" or 5 16" that I need? Any information would be appreciated Carb works perfectly all the way around, except for one issue: idle speed

A couple years ago I did a Vortec head swap on my 76 L-48 Corvette and rebuilt the 17056202 Quadrajet with parts recommended and supplied by Cliff The kit included 77 jets and 44 primary metering rods I have since built a 383 stroker engine (10 3 to 1) to go into the Corvette and I am needing idea's on upgrades to the Quadrajet to meet the increased demand for fuel

Quadrajet dripping fuel out of the primary throttle shaftbuzz do you feel comfortable taking the carb apart? i would first see if its got the proper gaskets then i would fill it with fuel on the bench and see what happens there electric pump could have made to much pressure who know theres a thousand things that could be wrong remember simple and easy is the way to start fwiw
